making a difference

Residents are at the heart of every Niche-Leeds research project. Ultimately, we are looking for new ways of promoting or improving your long-term care and support around your quality of life, quality of care, choice and autonomy, and/ or meaningful activities.

We work with care homes and their residents to prioritise topics that matter to the people living or working in care homes. Valuable research areas and questions are often unearthed when speaking directly to people living in a care home or their family who are aware of frustrations or limitations in the way care is currently delivered.

The benefit of your care home participating in a research project with us is how the insight and evidence can translate into practical or policy changes that can improve care home practice and standards.

Niche-Leeds homes are committed to continuous improvement and learning for their care staff to enable them to do the best job possible in supporting residents with their care needs.
